“Present Yourself, Not Words”

This workshop aims to address International Student’s communication difficulties in English by providing a safe and inclusive platform for all participants to learn how to express themselves effectively.

The event is held by Dr Theresa Teo, a business professor in UNSW and MQ for more than 15 years and an entrepreneur in the marketing industry for more than ten years. With her Chinese/Singaporean background, Dr Theresa found herself experiencing a rough period trying to adapt to Australia.

We want to welcome all international students who may have experienced the same struggles and to help them find ways to improve their English communication skills and get them involved in university and future job.

In this event, you can choose to talk about your difficulties and problems in familiar language, and Theresa will suggest relevant solutions!

This event is also held by international students who can empathise with these struggles and relate to the students. In this offline event, you will get many valuable tips and improve communication skills!
